Fibre Optics Set The Mood For James Bond

For the latest James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough, Doncaster-based Schott Fibre Optics supplied a selection of fibre optic cable to the value of £30,000 to Pinewood Studios where much of the filming was done. The fibre optic lighting from Schott was used to create a night time city-scape backdrop for the caviar factory scenes. Though the set is located just north of London, the movie was also shot on location in Spain, London, Turkey and the French Alps. Greed, revenge, world domination through the power of oil and high-tech terrorism are some of the ingredients of this latest adventure.
