Extracts For Success

With a focus on naturalness, flavour, quality and functionality, Plantextrakt, producer of tea and herbal extracts, presented its new "Extracts for Success" concept at Ingredients Middle East/Gulfood 2009. "These are qualities that are becoming increasingly important to consumers all over the world," said Dierk Neser, Area Sales Manager for the Middle East/Africa. "We have, therefore, developed an innovative product concept that fulfils these wishes." The concept is backed by a new, gentle production technique developed by the firm which ensures that product variants based on black tea, green tea, rooibos, peppermint and other herbs retain their original character. Drinks are packaged as dried herbal extracts or bottled in ready-to-drink clear glass containers, enhancing the pure image of the product.
