According to the company, defects like stones, inclusions & scratches can now be better detected & it is easier to find defects in the thread. Another advantage is the improved angle of view at the finish. By looking only at part of the container, a higher resolution is also available. This means that defects in the finish such as dips, notches & cracks can also be detected. In total, the machine uses 18 cameras, positioned around the container to provide complete inspection. 6 cameras are used for shine through inspection, 6 for stress inspection & 6 for shoulder, neck & finish
