Excellent First Half For Diageo

Diageo has reported a 7.5% rise in group sales for the six months to end December 2019, but warned that beneficial phasings during the period would result in lower growth in the current six months. Sales in the first half were up 7.5% to £6.91bn with N America and Africa both up 6%. Europe and Turkey sales rise 5%. Latin America and Caribbean increased sales by 9% while Asia Pacific jumped13%.
