Excel Completes New Handling Contract At Chivas Paisley Site

Excel Automation has completed a contract for wold famous distiller Chivas Brothers, to install a pallet exchange unit and associated conveyors at the company's Paisley site in Scotland, where Chivas Regal, Passport and Long John brands are bottled. The new handling and conveying system for the dispatch area of the North Bottling Hall at Paisley, was designed, manufactured and supplied by Excel to transfer palletised loads onto shipping pallets. Also, as part of the contract, Excel incorporated a stretch-wrapper supplied by Chivas into the new line and integrated it with the Excel designed control system.
