Eu Ministers Pass Plastics Law

An EU Commission Regulation has been approved by the Council of Ministers setting out new rules for the manufacture of plastic materials that come into contact with food. Set to com into force January 2013, the law will establish specific migration limits. The plastics industry will have to comply by January 2016.
