Eu Glass Container Trends

Every two years the European Glass Container Federation, FEVE, provides a detailed report for the Annual Review, outlining market trends and developments in the EU. In this intervening year, FEVE has made available its latest statistics for EU glass container production and recycling. The percentage of glass recycled has increased in many countries in comparison with the FEVE data for 1996, with Austria, The Netherlands and Germany recycling the highest levels of glass. There has also been a slight increase in terms of the tonnes of glass collected from bottlers and the public.
