Estonian glassmaker, Jarvakandi Klaas, has opened an EKr100m workshop incorporating a new furnace and two production lines. The expansion has doubled the company's production capacity and an additional 90 employees have had to be taken on, brining the total to 250. The company, which sells primarily to the Baltic, Scandinavian and Russian markets is 82% owned by Owens-Illinois. Most of the remainder of the shares are owned by leading Estonian alcohol producer, Liviko.
