Cerastil GR is a newly-developed coating for moulds, launched by Eurobond Adhesives, which aims to increase the productivity of forming equipment. Cerastil GR can eliminate the need for swabbing dopes and reduce subsequent smoke fumes and airborne pollution. In use, moulds coated in the lubricant have been proven to run for up to three days without any damage or the need for recoating. They have also helped to increase mould pack and quality and reduce losses at start up. The safe, water-based system which contains a 100% inorganic binder can be sprayed onto clean moulds, dried and then baked for 30 min.
