Emhart'S Vision Mould Number Reader

The Vision Mould Number Reader (VMNR) from Emhart Glass is a vision-based, non-contact device that helps improve quality by matching defective containers to the moulds where they were created. The VMNR features console-mounted electronics, user-friendly screens and keyboard functions which help monitoring and data entry to give operators the capability to quickly and accurately identify and correct problem moulds. The system uses visual information provided by Scanner or Pro Scanner Base Inspectors to locate and identify mould codes. Using this concept, the VMNR can inspect both round and non-round ware.
