Emhart Finds Optimism At Glass India Show

Following the Glass India trade show at the Bombay Exhibition Centre organised by DMG, the glass machinery supplier Emhart issued a statement that the two-day event was well attended by the many glass manufacturers from India and the surrounding region. It was reported, during the course of the event, that the glass container price in India had risen 15% ion recent times, and that this increase was providing funding for capital equipment upgrades. Emhart said that it was clear, from its discussions, that Indian glass makers are in expansion mode, and with the additional cash being generated, they are poised to advance their technology and increase their presence in the global market. Emhart was encouraged by the interest show during the event, and considers the growing and optimistic Indian glass industry a market to watch.
