AGC has chosen German-based EME for its new flat glass production and processing lines in Guaratingueta, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The glass factory is a milestone for AGC and its first in South America. Following the order for the batch house, EME has now received the contract for the cullet return system in Brazil. The new float line has a daily capacity of 600/t and will produce flat glass mainly in automotive and mirror quality. The cullet return system services the float line, a cutting line for automobile glass, as well as another processing line. EME has already supplied AGC a turnkey batch house and cullet return system for its project in Klin, Russia, and is continuing to underline its strong position for batch house and cullet return systems in the flat glass industry.
