Ebrd Gives Bank Loan To Ukranian Glass Producer

The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development will provide a dirs 12M loan to modernise Ukraine's oldest and largest glass packaging producer, according to a recent statement by bank officials. The loan to the Hostomel glass plant will pay for the repair and modernisation of equipment. Money will also be spent on bringing the plant's accounting system into line with international standards. The deal will also help the plant produce glass for the beer industry, which EBRD also supports. The EBRD has lent about dirs 1.4BN to Ukraine, signing 41 deals over the past decade to boost private enterprise development
