Dyatkovo District: Two New Glass Plants In 2019

The governor of the Bryansk region (Russia) met recently with leaders of the Dyatkovo district to discuss the results of a socio-economic development in 2018 and to plan investment and social projects for 2019. One of these investment projects included the construction of a plant to produce glass microspheres for road marking in Bytoshi, to begin spring 2019. Production is estimated at 15,800/tpa. Another project planned sees preparation for the reconstruction of an old glass factory in Stari, to produce ampoules and medical glass bottles. Glass melting furnaces will be built to produce over 1bn ampoules and vials per year, creating around 400 jobs locally.
