Roger French, ACerS Fellow and professor at Case Western reserve University in Cleveland, OH, is leading a study on the long-term durability and lifetimes of photovoltaic systems and materials. According to a University press release, the recent award of US$2.88M by the State of Ohio's Third Frontier Wright Projects Program, will support the Solar-Degradation and Lifetime Extension Centre, for which French will serve as director.
