The price of glass will rise 15% because of greater raw material and and energy costs, warned Stephen Cox, vice president of DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions and Vinyls, who sees the high cost of inputs in the 4Q 2007 continuing in 2008. According to the multinational, the laminated business will increase its prices worldwide from June 2008 for all laminated glass for buildings and vehicles.
