Dry Screw Pumps For Low- And Medium-Vacuum Applications

The new HeptaDry line of dry pumps from Pfeiffer Vacuum is, says the German firm, very well suited for low- and medium-vacuum applications. The rugged and dependable HeptaDry pumps are designed for all areas in which oil-free vacuum is required, and offer pumping speeds of from 100-600 m/3h. HeptaDry pumps are suitable for use as stand-alone pumps for processes of up to 10-1 mbar. According to the company, when used in combination with Pfeiffer Vacuum Roots pumps, they supply an ultimate pressure of up to 5x10-3 mbar. This good ultimate pressure enables them to be used throughout a broad range of pressures.
