Drier For Screen-Printed Glass

Keraglass Engineering has introduced Dry-Glass, a new steel drier for screen-printed glass which is provided with a refrigerating unit. The drier is divided into three sections, for heating, cooling and refrigeration. The glass is conveyed through these different sections on a ceramic roller table. According to the Italian company, an entirely new system is used to dry the inks; the air can be heated both by using electric resistance and by means of gas burners, whose feedback is controlled by special thermocouples. This control of heating agents, along with the use of high quality thermal insulating material, allows for reduced power consumption, both for high production rates. The machine is supplied with flues, which are provided with fans for the expulsion of tthe drying gases.
