Distribution damage is a symptom of underlying problems - a quality system out of adjustment. The purpose of this paper is to develop a management method for controlling distribution damage. Such a system includes setting standards and managing conformance through appraisal and corrective action, including package improvement through damage reproduction test method evaluation.
