Diageo announced recently it is to sell 19 of its lesser-known spirits brands to Sazerac for US$ 550m. The range consists of brands from across the spirits categories and includes a dark rum, a sambuca and the Piehold flavoured-whiskey range. Perhaps the best known is Seagram's Canadian Whisky.
