Diageo Confident On Full-Year Performance

Diageo has maintained its mid-singe-digit sales growth forecast for 2019 but warned that "significant changes to global trade policy" could hamper performance in the 12m to the end of June 2020. In a trading update, CEO Ivan Menezes reiterated the expectation that sales in fiscal-2020 should increase by around 5% on the corresponding period a year earlier.
