Demaglass Deal With Japanese Giant

The lighting division of Demaglass has secured a 1997 supply agreement with Japan's Toshiba for almost 5m light bulb shells. Lamp production in the Asia-Pacific region has increased by over 20% for the past five years and widespread investment in high-speed production by the lamp manufacturers has presented them with some tremendous sales opportunities, according to the company's Marketing Director, Eddie Engel.
