Decorative Glass

Resin Coloured Glass (RGC), by Advanced Panels & Products, is claimed to offer a cost effective way of creating feature designs on almost any glass surface. The process provides an alternative to traditional glass decorating techniques such as stained glass, surface film and lead techniques and offers flexibility of design. It takes less time to produce and results in a durable finish which does not fade, peel or crack. The RCG process is a resin bonding technology, using a combination of chemicals and resin to create an imitation lead bead which forms the outline of the design. A pre-prepared outline drawing is placed beneath the piece of glass and traced by a gun which delivers resin at low pressure and recreates the outline of the drawing.
