Decanter Development Takes Over A Year

It took a duo of Austria designers, working with STO technicians, over a year to develop a prestige decanter "sophisticated enough to be worth its precious content." This is OVAL vodka, which required 4 years of development and experimentation before being successfully launched in the global premium vodka markets from the supplier's Vienna headquarters. This product, claiming a totally "smooth and seductive taste" is available via retail stores such as Selfridges etc. Its unique glass decanter, produced by Stolzle-Oberglas GmbH, reflects the shape of a tetrahedron. "Each triangular face containers a generous oval, echoing the molecular structure that lies behind OVAL vodka's exceptional flavour." STO said that finding tools to make this striking decanter on its standard production lines was a difficult process. After a long search, a French firm supplied the mould.
