Danone Agreement

Danone has signed an agreement in principle with Gerresheimer Glass to form a joint venture centred around their glass container activities. It is planned that Danone would have a majority stake in the company and that it would be floated on the stock market. It is expected that annual sales of the new business will be around DM2.5bn.
