Dalmore Bottle Goes For £27,600

Bonhams auction house in Edinburgh has sold a unique Dalmore Oculus whisky for a staggering £26,700. The anonymous bidder is now the proud owner of a whisky, assembled from some of the finest of the past 140 years. Whyte & Mackay's Richard Patterson used his knowledge of Dalmore's stocks to blend whisky from 1868, 1878, 1922, 1939 and 1951 into an "incomparable and brilliant assemblage."
