[Czech Republic] Glass And China Manufacturers To Re-Employ

Bankrupt Czech glass and china makers are reportedly going to re-employ about two fifths of their original employees. In 2008, the Czech glass and china makers employed around 7000 staff. Currently, there are just under 2000 employees with plans to employ another 600 people in the near future. Since the launch of insolvency proceedings in 2008, the companies of the groups Bohemia Crystalex Trading and Porcela Plus, now have new owners and are gradually resuming production. Around CZK 1BN was generated by the sale of the production plants and further tens of million crowns have been obtained thanks to the sale of other assets and stocks.
