Cutting Wine Packers' Costs

United Glass is aiming to help British wine packers to capitalise on the growing consumer demand for single serve wines in pubs, restaurants and clubs. The manufacturer has designed and produced a 187.5ml standard wine bottle which will help merchants to develop this market by bottling products in the UK. This could bring major cost savings to the packer compared to importing wine bottled overseas. The glassmaker has already received its first orders from Waverley Vintners and Continental Wines & Spirits and is actively pursuing other market opportunities. (whole item)
