Crimean Soda Plant - Net Profit Of Uah 79.5M For 2008

The Crimean Soda Plant (Krasnoperekopsk, Crimea), which is the biggest producer of soda ash in Ukraine, ended 2008 with a net profit of UAH 79.474M, the company announced. At the end of 2008, assets of the enterprise were estimated at UAH 991.497M, current liabilities UAH 204.994M, and accounts receivable UAH 101.621M. The Crimean plant meets about 80% of the demand for soda ash on the Ukrainian market and 2.5% of demand on the world market.
