Corning - Major Fibre Projects

Corning Inc and CTR Group Ltd, announced that Corning will be the exclusive optical fibre sponsor of Project Oxygen, the global undersea optical fibre communications cable network being constructed by CTR Group Ltd, of Woodcliffe Lake, New Jersey. The sponsorship agreement allows Corning the opportunity tosupply submarine fibre from its line of non-zero disperison-shifted fibres, optimized for very high capacity and long distance, for use throughout the Project Oxygen Network.
