Work is well underway at Electroglass on two all-electric furnace projects for fluoride opal tableware for customers in the Indian sub-continent. The proven technology featured in the Electroglass all-electric furnace design, coupled with low energy consumption, consistently high glass quality and long operating life are key factors in the success of this technology. Both projects include Electroseal all-electric forehearths. One installation will be supplied to a first time customer, while the other is for a long standing client, bringing the number of Electroglass furnaces supplied to this particular customer to four.
