Container Glass Expansion In Russia And Ukraine

It has been reported that Sisecam has agreed a loan of over 64M Euros from the EBRD to finance the expansion of its subsidiary, Andolu Cam, in the Russian and Ukrainian glass beverage container sectors. The expansion will include the construction of an additional furnace with a 330/tpd capacity and the cold repair and expansion of the existing furnace at Kirishi (Russia), as well as the construction of a furnace at a brownfield plant in Odessa, Ukraine, with a capacity of 230/tpd. The project will enable Sisecam's Odessa plant to grow and compete with Western Imports.
