Consumers Packaging - Joint Venture In Ukraine

(Canadian) Consumers Packaging Inc., is to invest US$18m in a joint venture with Ukraine's Zorya to produce glass bottles and jars for food packaging. The joint venture is called AD Zorya and production at its factory, 25km from Rivne in western Ukraine, is scheduled to begin by January 1998.
