Canadian glass group, Consumer Packaging, is reported to have invested an estimated ItL60bn (US$36.4m) in reviving an existing container glass business near the town of Teramo, in the central Italian region of Abruzzo. For the purpose, the Canadian firm set up a company, Consumers Glass Srl, which temporarily leased the glassworks from the receivers.
