The Manufacturer LIVE 2006 conference takes place on 20-21 September. The conference will take a networking/learning focus for over 2500 manufacturing managers & directors who will be attending. Topics will cover all areas of interest & concern, whether it be how to go about improving supply chain performance, overcoming problems with innovation & collaboration, boosting the skills-base & coaching managers to be slicker in their communications & man-management. There is something for everyone. All seminars are free of charge. The event is divided into 9 zones, each based around a seminar theatre housing a full program of talks. The manufacturing operations zone focuses on issues affecting the smooth operation of the plant & Alan McLenaghan, site director of Saint-Gobain will be looking at people & issues as they affect the workplace, & will be using amusing video clips to illustrate the point.
