Companies Join In Waterjet Venture

A joint venture in the USA to design and build waterjet cutting machines has been agreed by ABB Flexible Automation and Ingersoll-Rand. It joins the companies' existing European collaboration based in Ronneby, Sweden. Although the venture will embrace markets worldwide, Canada, Mexico and the USA are of particular interest. the move sees the creation of a global waterjet cutting systems manufacturer, with a support network offered by existing ABB and Ingersol-Rand locations around the world.
