Commission Regulation On The Ecodesign Requirements Of Energy-Related Products

After a Communication in the Official Journal of 10 April on the ecodesign requirements of energy-related products, the Commission has finally amended Regulation N°245/2009 applied to Directive 2000/55/EC on energy efficiency requirements for ballasts for fluorescent lighting with a new list of fluorescent lamps without integrated ballast, for high intensity discharge lamps, and for ballasts and luminaries able to operate such lamps. This new Regulation shall apply from 13 April 2010.
