Cogent Glass Inaugurates Telangana Pharmaceutical Glass Unit

Cogent Glass' new manufacturing facility at Vemula,Telangana, India, will produce moulded vials and tubular glass containers for the pharmaceutical industry. The facility is expected to provide some 450 jobs. The facility has a production capacity of one million pieces a day of Type I moulded vials and half a million pieces of tubular glass containers for the pharmaceutical industry. The facility includes batch plant from Germany, glass melting equipment and tubular conversion machines from Italy, IS machines from Sweden, and inspection machines from France.
