Coca-Cola Estonia (CCE) has established a working group to assess the extend of the company's future investment commitment to the country amid reports that the company may be considering relocating some, or all, production of a centralised Baltic bottling facility in Latvia. The company is re-examining its cost-base in the Baltic-rim states and whether having a centralised bottling facility would be more cost-efficient than operating individual bottling plants in Estonia, Lativa & Lithuania. CCE is expected to produce a report by June outlining future strategy. This strategy is expected to recommend the creation of a centralised bottling and distribution system in Latvia, or alternatively, building a new state-of-the-art facility in Estonia.
