A Technology Roadmap Workshop held in Livermore, California, Jan 18-19, 2000 sponsored by the US Department of Energy, Office of Industrial Technologies, PPG Industries and the Glass Manufacturer's Industry Council specifically relating to glass coatings. Contents include: Flat glass coatings; containers; fibre; speciality coatings on glass; online coating of float glass and relationship to coating chemistry; surface chemistry of commercial glasses; characterization of glass surfaces, coatings and interfaces; theoretical approaches to modelling glass coatings and interfaces.
