Chinese Pharmaceutical Plant Investment

Schott recently laid the cornerstone for another pharmaceutical packaging plant that will be located south of Shanghai, China. The plant is expected to be in full production in 2017 and will manufacture vials and ampoules. Furthermore, the company plans to modernise and expand its existing facilities at an integrated site in Suzhou. The company announced that the Pharmaceutical Systems division will invest around 30M/Euros in total in China over the next three years. These measures will increase the company's production capacity by 50% over the same period.
