Chinese Mould Plant Opened

O-I has officially opened a mould plant in Tianjin, China, to supply moulds to O-I plants throughout the world. Located 120km south east of Beijing, the O-I Tianjin Mould Co Ltd is among Asia's largest glass mould manufacturing sites, employing around 300 people. A j-v between O-I and Yi Qing, the plant is integral to making O-I's mould equipment more cost and speed efficient. O-I also has a second mould facility in Manaus, Brazil.
