China Plans More Growth

China is drafting a long-term development plan to turn the country into a global giant in packaging production, according to the country's news agency Zinhua. It said Che Xiang Fu, deputy secretary-general of the China Packaging Technology Association, wants China to develop its own packaging technologies and brands. He called for Government tax breaks, research funding and more training to promote the industry's rapid development.
