[China] Lui Jian Ping Sees Opportunities For Container Glass To Grow In China

China's hollow glass sector can develop further, according to the vice-president and secretary-general of the China National Association of the Glass Industry. But, as he explains in this article, future investment will be centred on re-developing existing plants. According to government statistics, output of hollow glass grew 14% between 2005-2006 to 9.95m/tonnes. However, industry statistics are based on the number of beverage bottles used by drinks companies and the Association believes that output is much higher, around 13m/tonnes in 2006. Ch
