[China] Glass Fibre Looks For Improvement

In spite of a global slowdown in many of the consuming markets, China's glass fibre production industry still managed to achieve nearly 100% sales during 2002. Output was recorded as 539,270 tonnes, up nearly 40% over the previous year, with the production/sales ratio increasing to 96.7%, an increase of around 1.5%. However, despite the increase, or perhaps say many, because of it, prices for traditional glass fibre products within the industry decreased continually over the year, and at present show no signs of an upturn.
