French black-raspberry liqueur Chambord is now being distributed in a distinctive regal-looking bottle in the UK market by Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands. The drink, first produced for Louis XIV during his visit to Chateau Chambord in 1685, was acquired by Brown-Forman in July 2006. Training and trade tours to the distillery at the Chateau La Sistiere, nestled in Cour Cheverny in the Loire Valley, are planned for 2007 to encourage greater understanding of the brand's history.
