Pennine Industrial now offers a full range of inverted tooth conveyor chains and sprockets with the patent-pending Pennine head protector system (HPL and DHPL). Its designs are totally interchangeable with the products of all other chain manufacturers and will now fit all IS machine and cross conveyors with no need for any modifications to sprockets or guides. Its head protector link systems have been available for several years, and use a traditional design based on a solid and simple idea. The problem was that the very solidness of the product meant the HPL would not fit on a centre or side guide sprocket without modifications being made to the sprocket. Because of this, Pennine developed the protector link so glassmakers could use it with multigrade, centre guide or side guide without needing to modify the sprocket. See: www.pennine.org
