[Central Asia] Asl Oyna To Build New Glass-Making Furnace

Uzbekistan-based Asl Oyna open joint stock company, one of the leading producers of glassware in Central Asia, will build its second glass-making furnace at a cost of US$12.5M in 2014-2016. The project will allow it to produce an additional 80M units of glassware a year. Asl Oyna OJSC launched production of glassware products for 22M Euros in October 2009. Germany’s HEYE International GmbH supplied equipment to Asl Oyna. The firm will produce 150/tpd and 126M units of finished glassware products a year. Asl Oyna is able to make various glassware goods in flint and coloured glass.
