Carling Brewer Coors Merge With Canadian Giant Molson

Carling brewer Coors has merged with Canadian giant Molson to create the world's fifth largest brewing operation. Molson Coors Brewing Company will have combined beer sales worth six billion dollars. The deal brings together Coors, the second largest brewer in the UK, with a market share of 21% and Molson, Canada's leading brewer which also has a strong presence in Brazil. Coors' UK operations will continue from its base in Burton-on-Trent.
