[Bulgaria] Profits Up For Drujba

Drujba Glassworks, the Bulgarian unit of Greek glassware and bottle maker Yioula, said recently its first-half 2015 net profit edged up 1% to 12.1M/levs ($6.9m - 6.2m euro) from 12M/levs a year earlier. In the second quarter alone, Drujba Glassworks' net profit was 34% higher compared to the same period last year, the company said. Sales revenues increased by an annual 3% to 119M/lev in the first half of 2015, and by an annual 8% to 69.9M/levs in the second quarter. Drujba Glassworks has two production units one in Sofia and the other in Bulgaria's second-largest city of Plovdiv, in the south of the country.
